This week we were fortunate enough to have a school lunch on behalf of the schools Zambian Immersion Project.
The Certified Irish Angus Steak was kindly sponsored by KepaK which allowed us to make a generous donation to this years Zambian Immersion Project. Students had a choice of a prime Certified Irish Angus Steak Baguette or a Roast Beef Dinner with all the trimmings prepared and served expertly by Michael O Dwyer and his team at Mitchel House. The Irish Angus Producers Group in association with Kepak and ABP are hosting the national competition in which two of our fifth year agricultural science students, Niall Molony and Kieran Cummins are finalists.
We are very grateful to all the students who participated in this one off fundraiser and especially to Áine and the team at Kepak without whom this would not have been possible. For more information check Facebook: Certified Irish Angus Beef or CBS Beef Project and our school website.
